Hello Lovelies,
Like all of you I was shocked and saddened by the devastation in Haiti. There was one image on the news website of a boy about 3 or 4 crying being carried away by a rescuer, I couldn’t but help think he was probably now an orphan. Could you think of anything worse to happen a child of that age? So to do my bit I’m donating 10% of the fees for the next wedding booked direct to Red Cross. The donation will be made under the name of the couple booking so get on board, get married, get great photography and help the devastation in Haiti.
Hello Lovelies,
Yiota, Sam and I had been trying to coordinate an eshoot for 3 months and everytime one of was free the other wasn’t and on it went but we finally managed to nail down New Years Eve in the city where we all were along a further 50% of Melbourne’s population.
It was hot and very crowded but we had fun, can’t wait for your wedding!

Wow what an amazing day! Jill and Nick’s wedding was infused with a depth of love that was staggering, it really felt like a fairytale wedding.
Nick who had fallen madly in love with Jill the moment they met in New York 2 years ago then convinced her to marry him and move to Australia but this is no one way love story, both the bride and groom radiated the etherel spirit of two soul mates who had found each other and knew it .
The passion, love and commitment (and jokes) in Nick’s speech left not a dry eye in the house including mine.
In june there will be their 2nd ceremony in Vermont for Jill’s family and friends who couldn’t make it to Australia and I’m sure it will be just as passionate, beautiful and infused with a very special love.
Thank you so much for having me share your special day.

Hello lovelies, Heres a sneak from Jill and Nick’s incredible wedding. Stay tuned, more to come.

Noah finished primary school this year. It meant he got to wear a suit for the first time for his graduation dinner and play ‘oya coma va’ on bass in the school band at final assembly which he rocked.
He’s not usually keen on having his photo taken but he wanted himself in the suit recorded for posterity.
My heart just aches with pride and love right now.

Sarah and Matt are a beautiful couple. Both from ‘old school’ Port Melbourne families, thats the working class Port Melbourne from as little as 15 years ago as opposed to ultra chic, inner urban high rise locale full of hip people, advertising agencies and designer stores it is now. Although raised in the same suburb they didn’t meet till later in life when introduced by mutual friends. and despite having moved across the river to Spotswood Matt still plays footy for the local Port Colts.
These 2 have been together for 8 years now and are very in love. Sarah clearly was very excited about her wedding. Besides pouring in a massive amount of time organising it there was a daily countdown ‘xx sleeps to go’ on her Facebook page from about 3 weeks till the big day. Matt may not have been as extroverted in his excitment but the the look on his face in the church as Sarah made her entrance was heartfelt and moving and said it all.
The reception at Riva in Elwood followed for 180 of their closest family and friends. They arrived just as the rain started, the timing could not have been better. It was a big big night, these guys really knew how to party!
Thank you Sarah and Matt for asking me to share your journey, it was an absolute joy.

Hello Lovelies,
A sneak peek from Sarah & Matt’s big Church wedding. The full blog will be up in a week…… I promise!

“Some pursue happiness others create it”
( a sign in Mike’s garage)
Rachel and Mike are a truly beautiful couple, their wedding encapsulated what a wedding is REALLY all about.
A small backyard ceremony with 30 family members and a reception for them and another 30 friends, nothing fancy, nothing flash, no stretch hummer, no cathedral service but it was as beautiful and moving a wedding as I’ve had the privilege of capturing all because of their love.
Rachel and Mike met on an online dating site 3 1/2 years ago. Rachel had been on the site only 2 weeks when she met Mike, her first date. It was obvious early on that they were meant to be, 4 months after meeting they purchased a house together in which they have lived together since early 2007. This house was also where they chose to get married. To understand why they chose to get married there you only have to sit in a chair in the living area and look around. Its an expression of that love and a sacred space, beautifully framed photos of themselves together along with other affirmations of their love and commitment anoint various walls and sidebars serving as a testament to them and their life together.
Thanks for asking me to share your wedding and capture it, it was an absolute joy.
