Parental pride and BMX calanders

Hello Lovelys

I’m so proud what can I say?

This is the front page of Charlie, my 14yo son’s fundraising calendar for the Lilydale BMX Club of which he and younger brother Noah are avid members. The calendar was his major year 8 project at school.

He did the whole thing himself, photography, design, finding a printer and selling, all I did was be his taxi driver and loan him cameras. The standard of his photography is absolutely outstanding and yes, I am biased but its true!!

The calendar has sold out its first print run and raised over $300 for the club which, despite being a small club has 3 world ranked riders (watch out for Josh Callan at the 2012 London Olympics!)

We’re about to print a 2nd run and if anyone out there would like to buy a copy and support the Lilydale BMX Club email me james@xiss.com.au

Werribee Mansion garden wedding

BRIONY & BRENDON

venue Werribee mansion

Briony and Brendon tied the knot after 10 years together.

It was a beautiful garden ceremony at Werribee Mansion with 20 of their closest friends and family.

The ceremony was both moving and at times funny as they paid tribute to  their love for each other and the great role models both sets of parents had been to them and their relationship. They were married by Father Aguis who had married Briony’s parents Ann and Jan 33 years earlier.

The reception was  back at their house and it was easy to see where the majority of their wedding budget had been spent with plentiful top shelf food and drink being served to the 80 guests.

It was a beautiful, informal and fun wedding toally befiting the couple with a great time had by all.

Thank you guys for making me a part of it!
