As a wedding photographer I always approach the couple as the night is ending to see if they have any last requests
‘how about a photo with you?’ is one of the most frequent requests at which point one of my cameras is handed to someone of dubious sobriety
or a hand held self portrait follows.
Sometimes I can’t resist a reflection of myself……vain?….. no, curious I’d say. As a professional photographer I thinks its good for us to be on the other side occasionally too.
Much of our efforts are trying to help people feel at ease in front our cameras so its good to have empathy with the other side.

Me and bride, Joanna very late in the evening.

With ….. in front of a banner Jo and Milan they had made made for red carpet shots. I set up a studio flash system to give some real pizzaz. We photographed all the guests as they arrived,
it was a great way to start the day.

With Grieg and Kelly wrangling families for formals after the ceremony

Stalking my quarry, waiting to pounce!

This the image I was really taking at the time
