Goin home

I drive lots. I spend way more time than I’d like in my car but that’s what happen when you live an hour out of town and do that drive at least twice a week.

Last Thursday was a beautiful day in Melbourne. I was in the city visiting friends, designers and clients, a busy day, really enjoying it, the people, the energy but as dusk settled it was time to go and leave the thronging inner suburbs of Melbourne on the well worn path home.

You can feel the energy the further you get away from the city, The house, shops and restaurants all change and when I pass Lilydale the last of the suburbs, it changes again, paddocks vineyards and trees then…… Home.

These images were all taken on my way home that Thursday.

Parental pride

It was a chilly morning last week when I looked as I do to my left where some of  Charlie, my oldest son’s  sporting trophies sat on a dewy backlit window near my desk.

He’s not a sporting superstar but he has a few and I suspect I get far more enjoyment from them than he does.trphy3trophy2

Jill and Nick’s engagement shoot

Hello lovelies,

Some images from Jill and Nick’s beautiful engagement shoot. We had a ball shooting around The Convent and Collingwood Childrens Farm.

Nick met Jill, a native American while on holiday in New York where Jill was living in April 2008. It was love! Following that a long distance relationship

ensued until Nick in Janurary this year, down on one knee, wearing snow shoes in the Vermont winter proposed to Jill.

A few months later Jill moved to Melbourne to be with Nick and are now planning the first of their 2 weddings which will be in Melbourne, can’t wait.
